Hello everyone,

The Head Start and Early Head Start trunk-or-treat event is coming up quickly! We plan to have our annual trunk-or-treat at the Head Start and Early Head Start on Thursday, October 31st starting at 10 a.m. You are more than welcome to come set up as early as you need to, the children will be ready to come out of their classrooms at 10:15 am. It is very important for the children to stay on schedule, so we are encouraging programs to come set up early.

We are inviting all tribal departments to participate in the fun. Please bring a vehicle down to decorate and pass Halloween treats to the Head Start and Early Head Start children. We estimate to have around 180 children come through, that is including both town daycares. Also, keep in mind that the children we serve are aged from six weeks to five years and we also have some children who have peanut allergies. Just a couple of things to keep in mind when choosing candy/treats to hand out. We will be hosting a costume/trunk contest as well. I have included a map and highlighted in orange where to park and set up. Please RSVP to let us know if your program will be participating, we would appreciate it to know in advance how many programs are going to participate.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me at any of the information listed below.
