Attention Umoⁿhoⁿ Elders 

Your insight and testimonials will help lay a greater claim on our reservation to include those privately owned by non-natives. A light lunch will be served, and social time with one another. 

The Omaha Tribe Realty department, in cooperation with the Omaha Tribe T.H.P.O. and Public Relations departments, will conduct an information-gathering event to protect tribal resources on the Omaha reservation. These include burial sites, campsites, homesteads, ceremonial and medicinal flora and fauna catalogs, meeting sites, and cemeteries. 

Our goal is to protect these areas from further desecration and destruction from farming and construction and to make known the areas of significance to the Omaha people. 

This catalog will be for tribal use and implementation. No details will be shared besides that the area is protected. 

This meeting will be the first of three in April.
