Welcome Christa Carrillo

Christa Carrillo is the new Director of the Mark of Honor Youth Shelter. She is an enrolled member of the Omaha Tribe. Christa graduated from Nebraska Indian Community College (NICC) with an Associate of Arts in Human Services, emphasizing Alcohol and Drug Counseling, and an A.A. in General Liberal Arts. She furthered her education by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Bellevue University. Christa is pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health, aspiring to become a mental health therapist. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her boys. 

Her goal is to strive to make a lasting positive impact on the lives of the youth, guiding them toward a path of hope, stability, and success. She is committed to providing comprehensive services that address the unique needs of each individual, fostering resilience, personal growth, and a sense of community.
